In order to use the login identifier feature, your organization must have purchased Simpplr's Branded Mobile application.As an alternate login identifier you probably have a lot of questions about how you can benefit from Simpplr. Here, we've put together some our recommended best practices to help you feel more comfortable and connected to your organization.
Setup and login
Before you begin, download the Simpplr app from your mobile app store. Depending on how your Application manager sets up you account, thee are four different ways you can access your email account: email, phone number, Employee ID/Unique ID, or SSO.
Use your employee email address and set up a password with a verification code.
Phone number
Use your personal phone number to set up a password with a verification code.
Unique ID
Use your employee ID or unique ID to validate your account. Set up your personal security questions to verify your account.
SSO
If your Application manager has already provisioned your account, you can automatically login to your Simpplr account.
Once you have set up your account, login to Simpplr. Make sure you enable phone notifications so you don't miss out on important updates.
Password Reset
We've all been there. If you forget your password, you can reset it by validating your account with the personal questions you set during your account setup. If you still need help, reach out to your Application manager to reset your password.
What to expect
Each organization is different about how they configure their layouts and pages with information. Your Home feed is where you'll see the most relevant information from your company.
You can start setting up your profile. You can add a profile picture, update your about section to share a little about yourself, and include your expertise. Check out this article for tips on building a great employee experience.
Next, you can follow Sites and people. Following Sites and people controls what updates and information you receive on your feed (activity feed). Make sure you check back periodically for Must Reads or important information from your organization. Check out these guidelines for ways to best utilize your new intranet.
