People directory 2.0

With the 24.04 release, Simpplr has upgraded the top nav People directory for all intranet users. The directory has been completely revamped to include more enhanced filtering and more people data shown without having to navigate to a user's profile. This will make for a much better user experience!

How does it work?

New info columns

The first big change you'll notice are new columns that display people data. Default columns include:

• • Personal details

  • Role (job title)

  • Location

  • Contact details
    

The Additional details column displays the custom fields and the People category field, if enabled. It only appears when any custom fields or People category filters are applied.

New standard filters

Now, when users open the Filters panel, they'll see an all new filter menu. These new, multi-selection filters allow you to find users based on much more granular data than before. 

Instead of narrowing results by one piece of data, you can choose multiple field values from the same field (e.g. two locations and three companies).

Finally, you can sort filters by fields or alphabetically.
