Simpplr Email Deliverability Update – Action Required

1. Context

To keep emails reaching your employees’ inboxes promptly, Simpplr has upgraded its email delivery infrastructure. We now send from a pool of dedicated IP addresses on Amazon SES (Simple Email Service). Dedicated IPs strengthen deliverability and reputation, but they must be explicitly whitelisted (or "allow‑listed") in customer mail gateways and spam‑filtering appliances.

**Deadline:** Please whitelist the IPs no later than **9 June 2025** (two weeks from announcement). After that date, your organization may see delays, spam‑folder placement, or blocked Simpplr messages.

2. Action Required

1. Forward the *New Sending IP Addresses* list (next section) to your IT / mail‑security team.

2. Ask them to add every IP address to the allow‑list of your:
  • Email firewalls (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda)
  • Secure Email Gateways (SEG)
  • Spam filters / anti‑phish appliances
  • Any custom mail‑flow rules in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or on‑premise Exchange

3. Confirm whitelisting is complete by the deadline above.

**No other DNS or domain changes are required.** Simpplr will continue to sign every message with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

Tip: Bulk‑copy directly into your SEG interface or a firewall address group.

4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question Answer
Why is Simpplr adding new IP addresses? Dedicated IPs let us build a strong sending reputation, isolate any issues, and deliver emails faster and more reliably.
Do we need to remove the old IPs? No. Please keep existing Simpplr IPs in your allow‑list; we may use them during the transition.
Are the new IPs static? Yes. The list above will remain stable. Any future additions will be communicated at least two weeks in advance.
Does this affect the From: address or domains we see? No. All messages will still appear from the same Simpplr‑branded domains you already trust; only the underlying sending IP changes.
What happens if we miss the deadline? Simpplr messages from un‑whitelisted IPs may be delayed, spam‑scored, or blocked.
Will this change impact our SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup? No action needed—Simpplr maintains all authentication records.
