How do I add a new email sender address in Simpplr?

As the App manager, when assigning the global Email sender address, you're setting up the address that users will see when receiving weekly digest, top stories, etc.

To get started, you'll first need to add your org's domain and add the provided DNS records to your org's email settings.

  1. Go to Manage > Application > Setup > Email > Sender domain > Add domain

  2. The Add domain modal will open. Input your org's Sender domain and confirm how recipients will see sent emails.

  3. Optionally, add a custom mailed by address. A mailed by address shows the email source to mail servers and is used for authentication, typically visible only in the email's source code.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Copy the records output by Simpplr and add them to your DNS settings. Note, you'll need your IT admin or email admin to do this.

  6. Once copied, click Done.
  7. Once your DNS records have been edited, it could take up to 48 hours for Simpplr to verify the domain. You'll see the verification status, and can check on it at any time.

  8. Once the domain has been verified, you can start adding sender addresses by clicking Add sender.
  9. Type in the name of the sender and the email address you wish to use and click Save.

If no email address is configured, the sender address will appear similar to this: noreply-qa@simpplr.xyz.
