How do I add site categories to a site?

Note that only app managers can create new site categories in Simpplr. If you are not an app manager, but would like a new category created, consult the app manager.

To add a new site category:

  1. Log in to Simpplr as an app manager.
  2. From the left-hand navigation, go to Manage > Sites.
  3. Click the Site categories tab and choose Add category.

  4. Enter the name of the category, then click Add. Optionally, choose whether the category should be restricted. A restricted site category means only an app manager or user with appropriate permissions can add to it.
