Expensify tile

Allows users to view a list of expense reports they created from Expensify on a tile

Docebo tile Allows users to view learning courses from their Docebo LMS
Freshservice tile Allows users to view tickets they've submitted, as well as unassigned tickets from Freshservice on a tile
Improvement to Zendesk tile The Zendesk tile's filter now allows users to select multiple values for priority and status, instead of being limited to a single selection

Questions and answers (Q&A)

The new Questions and answers (Q&A) feature allows users to raise questions from the home and site feeds, as well as in content. Users can vote on the questions/answers, and site owners/managers can mark answers as approved or flag duplicate questions. This provides a way to fill in information gaps, crowdsource knowledge, and make sure employees can always find what they need on the intranet.

File view and download analytics

We’re excited to announce the release of the file view and download analytics feature – a powerful addition that brings visibility into how files are being consumed across your platform. This feature provides actionable insights into file-level engagement at each file level.

Users with appropriate permissions can now:

  • Track file views: See how many times a file has been viewed
  • Track file downloads: See how many times a file has been downloaded
  • View analytics over time: Understand trends in file engagement with date filters
  • Filter by audience: See analytics for site members, followers, other audiences
  • Export reports: Download analytics reports for further analysis or compliance

This feature will support all Simpplr internal, natively uploaded file types. This is not applicable for any external files or file integrations like Google Drive, SharePoint, or Box.

Special features

Employee newsletter

Multilingual support for newsletters

You can now deliver newsletters in multiple languages from a single send. Each recipient automatically receives the version that matches the language set in their Simpplr profile. This ensures consistent, localized communication at scale, helping you improve reach and engagement across your global workforce.

Improved event filtering and sorting

We’ve enhanced the event selection experience in the newsletter content picker to make it easier to find relevant events. You can now filter events by “Upcoming” or “Past” using a new dropdown menu, with the list sorted by actual event dates. Upcoming events appear in chronological order, while past events are shown with the most recent first.

Test email subject prefix

When you use "Send yourself a test" to preview your newsletter, the subject line now includes a "TEST:" prefix. This makes it easier to spot test emails and avoid confusion during reviews. The prefix is only applied to test emails and is automatically removed when you send the newsletter to your audience.

Email is no longer required as a delivery method

Email is now optional as a delivery method, giving you flexibility to independently select which delivery channels to use for each send. This is especially useful for reaching frontline teams or for organizations looking to reduce email volume. In-app notifications remain required to ensure reliable delivery.

Alt text for newsletter images
Alt text can now be added to images uploaded in newsletters via the editor, allowing content to be interpreted by screen readers for users with visual impairments.

Employee listening

Configurable comment fields in surveys

When building a survey, you can now choose to disable the “Add a comment” option on individual questions. This helps keep feedback focused and manageable, aligning with best practices for reviewing and acting on employee input.

Recognition and rewards

Edit recognition

Users and Recognition managers can now edit the message and recipients of posted recognition and awards. This will allow for corrections in spelling or fixing users given or missed in error when giving recognition. Recognitions given with points cannot currently be edited, but that is slated for a future enhancement.

Export CSV of users that do not have a payroll currency set

When using custom currency purchase power parity conversions for Rewards points, users in the system must have a payroll currency set. Prior to this release, the system would show the total count of users that did not have a payroll currency set but there was no way to see which users those were to identify an issue or fix a sync job. Now, Recognition managers can export a CSV of users that do not have a payroll currency set so they can fix any user sync issues that can affect Rewards purchase power parity conversions.

Do Not Disturb (DND) integration with UKG and audience management
